Hi! My name’s Helen. I’m typing this while I’m 16, but I’m gonna be 17 soon and I’ve got no idea when I’ll update this again, so lets just go with 17. I’m going into my senior year of highschool and I’m taking 2 AP (Advanced Placement) classes. The house that I live in isn’t finished, and my Dad refuses to let anyone but member of the family work on it. Or the yard. Or the 3 old cars we own. Or the boat we’re essentially remodeling. I’m usually the one who ends up helping him. Why is this relevant to my roleplaying? Because it means that I’m BUSY. So, if I don’t notice that you followed me/replied to a post/WHATEVER, please feel free to let me know that I missed whatever I should have seen. I try to let people know when I’m leaving, but sometimes that doesn’t happen. If I don’t reply to your reminder within a day, tumblr ate it or (if I haven’t posted anything) Dad has dragged me sailing or skiing or somewhere else. I’ll most likely bitch about it when I get back. As for more closely related to roleplaying stuff, I will do any form of RP, and will usually try to adapt to your style. Multi-paragraph lit is where I struggle the most, fair warning. I don’t have an OTP for Bucky, I just don’t really feel comfortable with Steve/Bucky because in my mind they’re brothers and I have a Tony account that is in a relationship with the Steve account that Bucky will most likely interact the most with. Anyone else, however, is fair game. You don’t even have to be from the same “Universe.” If Bucky has great chemistry with your character, I don’t care where they’re from (yes, even Twilight, although the likelihood of Bucky getting along with a sparkly vampire is highly unlikely, I’ll warn you right now). FAIR WARNING FOR MALE CHARACTERS INTERESTED IN A RELATIONSHIP: BUCKY IS FROM THE 1940S. BACK THEN IT WAS A CRIME. BUCKY HAS SEEN AND HEARD DISCRIMINATION AGAINST HOMOSEXUALS HIS ENTIRE LIFE. He, of course, is not a homophobe, and won’t care if your character is openly gay/bi. If anything, he will be extremely protective of them. However, he will be skittish about going “public” with the relationship, and definitely will be uncomfortable with PDA at first. This will change after a while, but he’ll need a few reminders that its legal now. Women, he’ll be more comfortable with, since obviously that was legal back then.
Bucky is pretty easy to make friends with, and incredibly loyal and protective of those he considers close to him. Especially Steve, because all those years of protecting tiny!Steve haven’t been forgotten. So don’t be afraid to come talk to him, I promise you aren’t bothering either of us!
